Rubber Ducky truly helped, when needing late night service they were the only ones to respond promptly and made sure the work was completed. As an out of state contractor coming into the area they... made sure we were taken care of and treated us like we were their only clients. Scheduling an appointment was simple and quick, I was able to get an appointment for the next day. Anthony was on-time and professional. There was a mix up between the plumber and the scheduler. I was very impressed with the owner calling me and apologizing to me for the mix up. He asked what he could do for us to rectify the problem.... He is even returning our $60. That was charged to us for diagnostic fee. Highly recommended!!! I had already been through the ringer with my warranty company giving me the run around on coverage and another plumbing company trying to upcharge for services not needed.... After almost 2 weeks of frustration Rubber Ducky saved the day! Setting appointments for diagnosing and repairing the pipe was super quick. I had two people come to work on my hot water heater & they were great! Upon arrival I asked them to put on mask, they were very respectful about it & wore them correctly the entire time. My... technician Jason took time to explain how it worked, what was wrong, & point out what needed to be fixed. Both technicians were kind, polite, & great communicators. Before they even arrived I received a message with his name & information along with tracking (similar to UberEats) so I could see how long until they would arrived. Patrick was personable as well as professional. The job required Patrick to access the crawl space underneath the house. Cutting out an existing leaking drain pipe from the tub and installing the... replacement. The job was completed within a reasonable time and clear instructions provided on wait time before using the shower. Prior to the repair an estimate of $318.00 was provided & approved (even though I felt the amount was to high, I had no choice as the repair was necessary).Having spoken with several people, the consensus was that the pricing was very high for the work. This would prevent me from using and/or recommending this company in the future.read more

Where do I begin, THIS BUSINESS AWESOME!!!!THE ABSOLUTE BEST PLUMBERS AROUND!!! I was looking around in the closet on my kitchen, when I really noticed and paid attention to the ID and serial number... tag of my hot water heater.1992! I'd bought this house four years ago and never once paid it any mind. I immediately started calling around for quotes for: buying, installation and supplies for a 50 gallon, electric water heater, plus removal of the old one. Now, I'm not talking smack, but I'm not made of money either. 1st call was to Michael & Son's. $69.00 just to come out and give me a qoute, no ballpark figure, and non-refundable. 2nd, Lowe's never even answered the phone, I called three times. 3rd, Woodfin was super nice, but very pricey. Labor ALONE was an estimated $1300.00, plus $79.00 for coming out. I scrolled through the list of Richmond plumbing companies and came across Rubber Ducky Plumbing. The name was intriguing and thought, why not. Glenda answered the phone right away and was SUPERB!!! She had almost all the answers to my questions and checked on the one that she wasn't sure on. She quoted me $1,500.00 (Give or take) plus tax, FOR EVERYTHING!! I couldn't believe it, surely something was wrong. Nope, Tyler Evans, our plumber, came out and confirmed this price. I asked: warranty, yes; hot water heater, yes; removal of the old one, yes; installation, yes. I couldn't believe it!! While the wait list for everyone else was close to a month, I was scheduled for the very next week. Tyler Evans was amazing, knowledgeable, efficient, and very kind (even put on shoe covers to protect our floor), and collected the payment securely, with an emailed receipt, via his work tablet. He made sure we had all of the paperwork, hot water heater was working, and answered any questions that we had. Told us if we had ANY questions, don't hesitate to call us. A million thanks to this amazing company for saving the day (and the bank account) and providing exceptional service with quality products. I was so impressed, that I'm using The Rubber Ducky to come back, next week, to install faucets in my upstairs bathroom!! If you haven't used this amazing company before, you simply have to right away. I promise you, you won't be disappointed.read more
